A foolhardy photographer takes snaps of a Grand Canyon sunset - after casually leaping between rock columns to reach a precarious perch 3,000ft up.
The mystery daredevil, wearing flip-flops and clutching his camera gear along with a six pack of beer, seemed oblivious to the yawning chasm below him as he vaulted from rock to rock to reach his destination.
And once there he set up his tripod and snapped away while nonchalantly sipping from a beer can.
Then he calmly repeated his death-defying journey - seemingly blissfully unaware of the panic he was causing among shocked onlookers.
Stunned photographer Hans van de Vorst, 47, caught the maniac's actions on film while on a visit to the Arizona beauty spot. He said: "Nobody bothered with the sunset - everyone's eyes were on this man."
